We’re Hiring – Part Time Quality Assurance Tester

This position requires 10-15 hours a week testing a mature Constituent Relationship Management software product. Applicant must be organized and communicate well.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • The majority of your time will be UI testing, but Sql experience is a plus.
  • Executes and creates test plans for enhancements to existing products. Defines comprehensive scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing
  • Schedules and performs functional, integration, regression, and release testing; submits errors and issues to development for correction, and retests once errors have been corrected. Reports test results and status as appropriate. Tracks defects and causal analysis to closure.
  • Reviews and provides feedback on requirements, design, and scope documents.
  • Supports and advocates established testing procedures and may provide input to establish those procedures.
  • Interacts with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and development teams to identify and refine test requirements.
  • Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.

Job Requirements include:

• Must have analytical skills with proven ability to comprehend business Requirements.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Desire to work in a highly dynamic environment with an All-Star team.
• Proven and successful career track record.
• Team Player.
• Highly motivated and willing to “do what it takes” to get the job done.
• Experience in Software Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing (UAT and Software Release Verification best practices.)

This position reports to the Product Manager.

Q:  What do you like best about working for Orange Leap?

A:  I really enjoy working with such a great team where everyone is supportive and help is always ‘just around the corner’.  Also, at the end of the day, I feel humbled knowing that I am doing something bigger than myself to help non-profits manage their ’cause’.

Q:  What do you do at Orange Leap?

A:  I am an Orange Leap Product Analyst whose role is to manage the product implementation process by gathering customer requirements and implementing those requirements in order to bring our customers ‘live’ on one of our Orange Leap products.

Q:  What’s the one thing you wish all nonprofits know about Orange Leap?

A:  That we are all Orange Leap ambassadors who are committed to doing our best to implement a constituent management solution that will accommodate all of our customer’s needs.

A:  I like to relax poolside with a good book!

Q:  What do you like best about working for Orange Leap?

A:  It has allowed me to reconnect with old friends and that our software is helping nonprofits to continue to do the good work they are doing.

Q:  What do you do at Orange Leap?

A:  My official title is Partner Development Manager.  Orange Leap is moving from a direct sales model to distributing the software through business partners.  I recruit new partners and manage the partner channel.

Q:  What’s the one thing you wish all nonprofits knew about Orange Leap?

A:  That our software was developed from day one for nonprofits and we have extensive knowledge and expertise in what the challenges and needs are for non-profits as it pertains to their fundraising efforts.

Q: What do you like to do to recharge your batteries?

A:  Get in my comfy leather chair and read a good book.
